The first time I heard of Caralyn, she was being headhunted as a new addition to the team and was described as the girl with the blue Chanel glasses. It's refreshing that later, in this interview, I would learn that she wasn't obsessed with the behemoth brand yet, but more so chose the glasses because she liked how they looked on her, which in my opinion, is the most important factor when it comes to buying frames.
The second time that I met Caralyn was at the Colonial store. Someone called out sick, it was the weekend, and it was her first day. I told her that it would be heavy. I gave her a crash course on how to run the front and register. It was insane that day, but she learned so quickly. She was a natural. Unflappable. I was incredibly impressed. Needless to say, Caralyn could hang.
Meet Caralyn. She is beautiful, smart as hell, hums softly while she works and always says yes when I offer snacks. I love that.

Your glasses are one the of the first things that people notice when they meet you. When did you start collecting Chanel and why? My first Chanel piece were my glasses. At this time, four years ago, I was not brand conscious and purely liked the way the glasses framed my face. Now, I am obsessed and I'm attracted to the level of class and sophistication this brand carries.
Is there a secret talent or thing you want to share about yourself? Although I love arts and style, I am also a very logical person. I do well with numbers of any kind and I'm pursuing a degree in economics this year. I hope to work towards an engineering degree afterward. Most of my decisions are based on facts and reality. But with fashion and art, it allows me to escape these facts to come up with something unique and different that doesn't have to follow said guidelines.
